  2. Welcome to Oblivion/2 v2.35                               November 13, 1996

  5.    It's been a while, but Oblivion/2 is back and better than ever.  This
  6.  latest release is for all those unregistered ops who're tired of using
  7.  the ancient v2.30 release (all reged ops have access to betas).  The JAM
  8.  message system hasn't been fully implemented yet, but there are a TON of
  9.  new cosmetic features to make modding easier, and to hold you over until
  10.  SPaM (script programming and management) is released to the general public.
  11.  This is mostly just a cosmetic update to v2.30, so all you have to do to
  12.  install is overwrite the old .exe and .ovr files.  Make sure to print up
  13.  a new copy of the documentation, it was completely rewritten from scratch
  14.  by Lasher and includes alot of new features that werent mentioned in the
  15.  old 2.30 docs.  Version 2.40 of the software will present a new registration
  16.  scheme.  Registered sysops will be contacted shortly and issued a new key.
  17.  We are now offering a $10 discount on registrations.  Read order.frm for

  25.  note: obv2-235.zip contains a alpha version of 2.40 that is not compatible
  26.  with the current structures, there will be TONS of bugs/errors if you use
  27.  that version.  I accidently included the wrong .EXE in the archive, sorry
  28.  for the inconvenience.
